Waiting for my stick to arrive, first place I tried buying it off haven't arrived yet, though they've offered a refund at least, second place at least gave me a tracking number.

I usually play on pad, since I can't really afford/am not willing to pay for an arcade stick, although when I do get to use a stick, I don't mind, I have an easier time doing combos, but a harder time doing command moves.

Hello!

I use pad for now, but stick really seems like the way to go for pro. I'm reading a lot about peoples opinions and it seems like a stick might be a good investment if I really want to play the game seriously.

One thing that would sell me on it, if anyone has any opinions: Zenia Valovs Critical Heart is really tough for me to pull off, and it doesn't feel like it should be (It's kind of like Bangs Daifunka right? About... Sorta?). It's like extremely hard >.< If I used a stick would moves like this be easier for me to pull off?

I still have a lot about basics and fundamentals to learn, but I've always loved flashy supers. I must learn them! 

optional/extra: I like games around this kind of area, Blazblue of course being the one that comes to mind. Would you say moves are easier to pull off with a stick with games like that too? Certainly doesn't feel like it when I try the joystick on my controller.

I play whatever is on hand stick, pad, keyboard, modded pop-it extreme controller.

Zenia's critical heart is easy bro just take your time, I have some problems playing her on pad mostly because some of her combos require A mashing to get to the right height then the A button gets stuck and orz.  I don't really think a stick would help out alot on her Critical heart at least.

I play on a pad. At first I would blame my failing on the fact I didn't have a stick. But now I like how close the buttons are. But doing too many DP motions really hurt my thumb.

Thanks ShinsoBeam =) Well, if you say it's easy then surely I can learn it! Besides, I kind of like that I can make use of the shoulder buttons and turn them into key combos... I'm sure there's a proper name for it but instead of be pressing A+B I can just press R2 or something :p

Maybe for now I'll hold off on a stick. TO THE ZENIA BOARDS!

I learned on a pad and I'm making myself relearn on a stick. It's a pretty nice modded Madcatz SE. I still have some occasional trouble with DP/half circle inputs, but it varies from game to game.

Ok, sorry about this one being a bit off subject...

If I may. My R2 button on my controller doesn't seem to be responding in training mode. Has this happened to anyone else? I took it into versus and it worked again. Not sure how big of a deal this is, but if I did something I would like to know.
(Hopefully posting here is better than starting a new thread).

I play on pad. I don't really see any need to "upgrade" to stick aside from the easier compatibility with systems (I use a ps2 pad  :V). I've never had any physical limitations on pad. Hell, if I can play I-no on pad I doubt I'll run into any problems.
