the problem is how exactly do I get 236236E to hit?
for example from 623C hc follow up -> j.AB dj.B4BC j214x I couldn't get it to combo.
I didn't have time for many tries though, once I get healthier i'll go try again

you have to cancel when the nail actually hits (still before the other person hits the ground)

It all needs to be done really quickly.

Anyone up to explaining the Luck arcana's mixup with Elsa in further depth? The wiki makes it sound like you use the dice to force a block and then go into an unblockable, but hypothetically couldn't you also use it for crossups, lows, overheads, etc?

Why would yo go for that though? It's not guaranteed like the unblockable setup. And the unblockable goes into another combo.

What happens is after you pin them with your nail (while it's still in the air) you cancel into a dice super which can be any random number, EFC that, then throw another die (all of this actually combos before the explosions) the new die will be a 6 because you're activated so it will have 6 hits to it, making the explosion last a really long time. So you can use 5[E] to guard crush them into the dice while they're exploding. If they 4GC, they get hit by the explosion, and I'm sure it's the same with 6GC (though I don't know about wind)

So once you hit them into that explosion, you pick up with 5A and go into another combo (but without the use of your nail)

That's the sort of explanation I was looking for, rather than the wiki description of just "When done right". Thanks.

Wait, what?
Ummmmm, you can OBVIOUSLY do a decent mix up after dice oki (low, high, or cross up).
You don't have to GC out of the oki, however even when "done right" they can still escape it by GC.

Problem is: if player is using something like Evil, they can teleport out on late tech.
If player is using Wind, using GC will push you away, prevent any kind of mix up (so you would need to bait the GC).

Once you guys start playing the game, this should make more sense to you'll (or I hope it does).

Not really. GCing dice (especially with a higher roll) is about as smart as GCing chibigawa.
And there is nothing else really to say, hence "when done right." You get the knockdown after communio, hit them with a die, meaty (5B, 2A, etc) dice blow up as you GC them with 5[E].
Get the hell out of the way

Try GC it right before they do fully charge 5E and keep holding it.
It will get you out, however you're only worry there is that both players forced themselves in a mix up. Elsa can throw you at this point, or DP if Elsa knows her opponent is going for the throw, or vice versa.

Unblockable dice oki is good, but not as strong as ya' think.
Once you get the game, mess around with it, the answer isn't hard to find. Plus, as I stated in my past post, with Wind GC is very safe. And if you teleport away, you can react to the Elsa doing charge 5E and 5E on whiff has too much recovery to punish teleport.

Hello...
new to the game and the forum... I was messing around trying to learn Elsa a little bit and I'm having trouble performing her critical heart.  It seems as if I can't input the motion fast enough (while the bullet is in the air).  Are there any tips on how to pull this off?

Thanks!

Try 28A246A+B. It doesn't have to be that fast, just one precise fluid motion.

This is more of an Arcana question than an Elsa question, but I'm planning on using Punishment Elsa. Are there any major gameplan differences with this Arcana as opposed to other ones? How noticable is the defense drop? How useful are Punishment's specials? What kind of damage output am I looking at with EF?

Sorry for being 20 questions, but I don't know much of this game other than watching tons of videos. I have read all the Arcana's information on the wiki though and I'm pretty sure Punishment is my favorite.
